I would like to nominate Caleb Remington and Tiffany Au as change agents. They can be found at https://www.instagram.com/the.gwed/ (@the.gwed). These two are amazing and are using their upcoming May wedding to host a Gala and Benefit Concert in place of a traditional wedding. Their goal is to raise $500,000 for five different cause areas: Global Genes, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, TWLOHA, Think Together, and The Wayfarer Foundation. Check out their page and their website. They definitely deserve a massive shout out and support. http://www.thegwed.com/donate

Thanks! xoxo

Hello!
My name is Mia Claire Evans and I would like to nominate myself for the hurry to be kind change agent for multiple reasons. In high school I was miss “popular” I cared what everyone thought of me, judged myself and others around me regarding tons of things. I tried so hard to keep up my reputation everyday. I had the worst anxiety, went through depression, I had it all. Until one day I saw a book and picked it up. A New Earth by Eckhart tolle. I never read anything ( now I read all of his books). My mothers best friend past away and left her that book with a note on the front. My mom passed that book to me and ever since then I’ve had a new perspective on life. I began taking late night yoga classes rather than partying, and started giving back to others rather than taking, I began posting inspiring messages online rather than trying to look “sexy” or sound “sexy” all the time, I began posting from my heart, I didn’t care about likes anymore, it was like some of my ego disappeared and I was loving it. This is when I thought WHAT are we all doing?? Why are we all living like this?? Why do we think the dumbest things are important?? Why judge people based off looks and be cruel? Why? Because it’s cool? NO! "Why focus so much on the future and the past and let the moment your living in right then and there be non existent? Why hold on to grudges and make them ruin your whole day?? Why spend so much time on social media caring about likes, comments, how many followers you have & what others are doing every second of the day when you could be out creating & building a future of your own!!?? It was then when I “woke up” this is what I think. I think WE ALL created anxiety, so many of us humans are rude, judgmental, try and live up to expectations. It’s all BS. We could stop it, we could stop it all! Believe in what you want, treat others with respect, make others feel like they can be their complete self around you, make them feel welcome/ comfortable, be a contagious light whenever you walk into a room! More spiritualism, less materialism. “We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we really need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about.” One of my favorite quotes from Albert Einstein. Yeah one person can’t change the whole world but I plan to spread happy, kind, beautiful energy to everyone around me through my words, actions and all of my posts on Instagram. I use Instagram.. yeah I’m a regular teenage girl, but I use it to inspire. To inspire people to grow mentally and physically, inspire to know this is their life and if they love everyone around them including themselves then they will live a happy joy filled life. I hope my pictures and captions are contagious to others and spread and spread and spread. I plan on buying tons of your shirts and sharing them on my feed. Let’s change the world!? #hurrytobekind

Hi! My husband and I started a group in our school district called the Ambassadors of Kindness, an extracurricular group in each school that spreads kindness, puts a stop to bullying and works to improve school climate. It has been 12 years of doing kind deeds in our school and in our community. We currently work with our local cancer center delivering Chemotherapy Care Packages for the patients there. Its just a little something to brighten their day. We’ve currently made 100 chemo care packages and intend to pick up more community based projects. These kids are amazing, so kind, and deserved to be recognized!

Hello! Myself along with my 13 year old daughter have started an anti-bullying campaign. We started with 3 classrooms at our local middle school and have reached a small special needs group of kids. It has caught one plotted suicide online with strangers that we are aware of. It has inspired a singer-song writer to create a song that is played by an artist savant who is blind and autistic. Together we have shown kids that we are all united in feeling put down and that if you don’t define how you want to be labeled then others will define you. I would love to see this project touch more young lives and so I am writing this very lengthy comment lol. Thank you for listening!! Xo Sue and Kayleigh
